Incubators have questions about humidity
There are many incubators on the market without humidity control, and the inside of the incubator is very dry. Most people try to solve the humidity problem by draining the incubator, sprinkling it regularly, and observing it with a hygrometer.
Humidity in the incubator is a very important, but often overlooked, factor in the incubation process. Some samples that are cultured have a need for humidity and some do not.
In the case of cell culture, a saturated humidity environment prevents the escape of carbon dioxide from the culture medium, stabilizes the pH of the culture medium, facilitates cell growth, and ensures that the culture does not fail due to excessive drying.
The Biochemical incubator needs to be filled with water to maintain the humidity. If the plate is kept at 37 degrees Celsius for a long time, it may be dry and can be sealed with plastic wrap, or water can be added to increase the humidity of the incubator.
