Why is a vacuum oven equipped with a vacuum pump?

The actual temperature of the vacuum oven is sensed by a temperature sensor located inside the oven and is controlled by a microcomputer to operate the heater so that the required temperature is reached. The operation of the vacuum pump is controlled manually in conjunction with the observation of the vacuum level on a vacuum gauge to achieve the required vacuum level for drying.

Generally speaking, the vacuum drying oven and the vacuum pump are not a single unit, but two separate entities that need to be matched and selected.

The purpose of a vacuum drying oven is to use the fact that the boiling point of water decreases with air pressure so that the water can be evaporated at a lower temperature. The function of the vacuum pump is to pump the vacuum. Without a vacuum, high temperatures or a long time would be required to achieve the same drying standards. If you don't think about this, you can do without a vacuum, as long as the drying oven can be heated to the temperature you need.

It should be noted that after drying, press the power switch "O" to release the vacuum inside the oven and then open the door to take out the contents. (After lifting the vacuum, it is not easy to open the door of the box immediately because of the deformation of the seal ring and the glass door suction tightness, you should wait a moment and wait until the seal ring returns to its original shape, in order to open the door of the oven conveniently.
