Biochemical incubator calibration problem

A biochemical incubator is a high-precision thermostatic device with heat and cold control, which needs to be calibrated when conducting culture experiments or testing.


1. Specific calibration of metrology Institute


When a special instrument is placed in the incubator for about 4 hours, the temperature at the time point set at the interval will be automatically recorded and compared with the temperature set in the incubator, as the basis for verification results.


2. Internal calibration of the laboratory


It is common practice for the laboratory to purchase calibrated thermometers and place them in the incubator. The temperature set by the incubator is checked once a day and recorded.


The biochemical incubator should be installed in a dry and ventilated room away from direct sunlight. The distance between the equipment and the wall must be more than 10CM.
