What is sour smell from CO2 incubator?

Recently, some people ask: once the incubator is opened, there is a sour smell. Is this normal? Is it like this with water? How to avoid or reduce the taste? Do you still have a mold like this? Do you want to add copper sulfate to prevent it?

It gives off a sour smell. It is estimated that there is yeast or mold growing. Yeast is a kind of single-cell fungus, which can survive in both aerobic and anaerobic environments, belonging to facultatively anaerobic bacteria.

After a period of time, the incubator needs to be scrubbed with sterilized water, and then sterilized with 300ml of double steam water at 90 ℃ for 25h (some incubators can), and then add 400ml saturated copper sulfate solution and 3L sterilized double steam water (the water volume of each incubator is different)

Co2 incubator needs to be cleaned in time, keep clean and dust-free. Use disinfectant water to clean the tank thoroughly once a week. Change different kinds of disinfectant water every quarter to avoid producing drug-resistant bacteria. This equipment should be verified once a year.
