How to measure germination rate with an incubator?

Incubators are often used in laboratories, both in research facilities and school laboratories, to perform an experiment on extracting compost sample extracts to determine seed germination rates. So, how do you determine the germination rate using an incubator?

In the experiment, 20 seeds (can be radish seeds) were placed on a piece of filter paper in a 9 cm Petri dish, 5ml of extraction solution was added and incubated in a biochemical incubator at 25 degrees Celsius for 5 days (48hr is enough if only germination rate is required), two copies of the experiment were made, one in the biochemical incubator and one in the constant temperature and humidity incubator (60% humidity).

Then according to the formula to calculate the speed germination index.

Constant temperature biochemical incubator is a water analysis of BOD determination, bacteria, biochemical, microbial culture protection, plant cultivation, breeding experiments of professional constant temperature equipment. The constant temperature and constant humidity incubator has the function of controlling constant temperature and humidity and can simulate various environmental conditions. Both of them have a comparative effect on germination rate determination.
