Comparison of electric heating tube and heating wire between drying oven and incubator


The electric heating pipe of drying oven or incubator is equipped with tubular electric heating element, which is generally divided into seamless 304 stainless steel pipe, 201 stainless steel pipe and carbon steel pipe, and the internal part is composed of resistance wire and crystalline magnesia powder.



The heating tube has the advantages of excellent performance,long service life and easy maintenance compared with the ordinary heating wire.

The heating pipe will not burn out easily due to water or sol dripping like the heating wire. The heating tube with fins has higher thermal efficiency and more uniform heating.

Seamless 304 stainless steel pipe is directly bent, seamless, no welding interface, better insulation, 304 material is also more corrosion-resistant. 201 stainless steel pipe is slightly inferior, followed by carbon steel pipe.

Kenton series is equipped with seamless 304 stainless steel heating pipe and some models with fins as standard, Kangheng series is equipped with 201 or carbon steel pipe as standard.

tips: seamless 304 or 201 stainless steel tube is recommended for the samples with water content or high corrosiveness in the drying chamber or incubator, and carbon steel pipe is not recommended to be used, so as to avoid affecting the service life of the heating pipe. For the samples with more water content or sol-drop glue, it is strictly prohibited to select the heating wires.
